Show Notes:
Hang in there maya! The best way I deal with the distance is looking at the positive side of things…. I’m thankful that it gives me a chance to be a snowbird from the brutual winters of Canada.

Well done Favourite! Geat podcast yet again.
I wish I could be nearer to my Daddy…Im in Cape Town, South Africa and he’s in Hampshire, United Kingdom… I just asked Google maps how far away that it and it said that it couldnt calculate that extreme distance :o( Long distance IS incredibly difficult.
Thank you again, spacey, for another happy hour of listening.

Hey little maya,
I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the show again. 🙂 A for google maps, we’ll have to call and petition that they bring South Africa and the UK closer together. Also, if you make the map really tiny, then the distance looks shorter. Might try that out. 🙂
More seriously though, long distance relationships are difficult. Thank goodness for the advances in technology that can help us keep better connected.

Long distance *is* tough.
Brother and I talk almost every day, I think, and I still miss him terribly all the time. He’s right though. Thank goodness for technology.
I’m thrilled to hear that the podcast is making a difference for folks.
Oh, and speaking of Google Maps…. a friend of mine showed me something really funny about it, once.
Check out this route, from China to Japan.

Look at Step 27.
I don’t think that’d be a good option for going from South Africa to the UK, though.
